Motion X Dance 2026 Summer workshop

The Motion X Summer Workshop is a unique, one of a kind training experience in the DMV. The workshop features 3 days of intensive dance classes in a range of styles taught by Motion X artists and renowned guests from NYC, DC and beyond! The classes featured at the workshop will push your artistic and technical limits, but will leave you feeling inspired.

  • Workshop Fee: $165 
  • Advanced/Intermediate level for all classes,
*We are happy to accommodate lower levels, but dancers with strong technical foundations in all styles will gain the most from the pace of the classes.
  • If you are interested in doing part of the workshop single day passes or drop-in classes are available. See below!

Adult/Professional - Ages 18+
Pre-Professional - Ages 14+ (working at a high intermediate or advanced level)
*Younger dancers are invited to participate with special permission from the Director. Please e-mail [email protected] if your child is under 14 years old.

Daily Schedule:
  • Each day starts at 10am and goes until 5pm (each day's end time will vary slightly.) Sunday's schedule ends earlier at 4pm
  • Workshop will include ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, commercial fusion, mental and physical wellness workshops

Please make payments using Venmo or Zelle using the links/info below. The full workshop cost is $165. Single day passes for Friday and Saturday are $60 and Sunday is $50. Drop-in classes range between $18-$20 depending on the class. All payments should be made ahead of time to reserve your spot.
