momentum: Support the motion x season!
MOMENTUM is Motion X Dance Company’s fundraising campaign dedicated to supporting the artists, programming, and creative work that keep our company moving forward.
Motion X is a nonprofit contemporary dance company creating visually dynamic, thought-provoking work that explores the human experience through movement, collaboration, and artistic curiosity. Just as important as the work we present, is the environment we create behind the scenes. We create an environment where dancers and collaborating artists feel supported, valued, and encouraged to take creative risks.
For many years, Motion X has been able to produce professional performances with limited financial backing. As we begin this new chapter as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, one of our greatest goals is to build a more sustainable future for the company and properly compensate the dancers, choreographers, designers, collaborators, and production staff who bring our work to life.
Supporting MOMENTUM helps fund artist compensation, theater and production expenses, costumes, multimedia collaborations, new work, and the many resources required to bring a performance from the studio to the stage.
Motion X is also passionate about education and community engagement. Throughout the season, we offer open classes, workshops, and opportunities for dancers to continue their training and grow as artists. As we expand, we hope to increase access to performances, classes, and creative experiences within our surrounding community.
Every contribution helps create momentum for what comes next.
Support the MOMENTUM campaign and help us continue creating, performing, educating, and connecting through dance.
Motion X Dance Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
